Buhari makes vital appointment

President Buhari appoints Tosan Erhabor from southern Nigeria to lead the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) Mr Erhabor is a seasoned medical laboratoryscientist and civil servant with about 24 years’ experience The new MLSCN boss attended School of Medical Technology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Edo state Nigeria, majoring in Hematology, where he got an award as the best graduating student in Hematology and Blood Group Serology.Mr Erhabor commenced his working career as a lecturer, at School of Medical Laboratory Sciences, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin Edo state in 1992.Later he moved his service to the then Instituteof Medical Laboratory Science Technology Lagos in 1997 as a principal medical laboratory scientist.He raised through the ranks to become directorand Head of Department External Quality Assurance and following the gruesome murderof late Mrs. O.F. Omotuyi, on June 15 became CEO of MLSCN.
