Suspected rustlers invaded the village in Niger state, killing 5 villagers

The officials of the state confirmed the development describing it as “barbaric” and “inhuman”

At least five people were killed by the suspected Fulani herdsmen, who on October 31 raided Gbada community in Kaure, Shiroro local government area of Niger state.

The Punch reports that the attack was carried out at about 3a.m and that several locals were also wounded, while others are still missing.

The heavily armed gunmen, numbering over 30, reportedly invaded the community at about 3a.m when the villagers were deep asleep. Theherdsmen also stole several cows.
